    Lithium Iron Phosphate battery for golf cart. Suitable replacement for standard lead acid 12V 24Ah batteries.

    Although the chemistry of this battery is different to the original battery on your cart, it is a suitable replacement. It can therefore be installed without having to do any modifications to your cart. Your 3 step charger with a charging control (intelligent), designed to charge a lead acid battery, will also be 100% compatible with this new Lithium Iron Phosphate battery.

    The kit contains:
    - A 12V 22Ah battery for a 38 hole round of golf - equivalent to a 38Ah lead-acid battery
    - A protective transport case
    - An Anderson special Golf Caddy T bar connector
    - An RCA/Anderson connector to adapt your charger to the battery.

    For discharging the battery, there are 2 possible ways to connect it: via the Anderson T-bar connector or with the M5 terminals on the battery.

    The charge is handled by the RCA socket on the side of the battery (the terminals on the top of the battery and the Anderson T-bar are only for discharging the battery. To recharge the battery, there are 2 possible ways:
    - Use the CEH9108 charger directly via the RCA socket.
    - Use your Golf charger (equipped with an RCA plug), connect it to Anderson/RCA adapter delivered with the battery and then connect this to the RCA socket.

    Based on Li-ion technology, Lithium-Iron Phosphate has numerous advantages compared to lithium-ion and lead-acid.
    - Safe technology - the battery will not catch fire or explode if it is overcharged
    - More than 2000 cycles, compared to 300 for a lead-acid battery
    - Very low levels of self-discharge
    - Can be used in all positions
    - Can be recharged rapidly - 90% of its full capacity in 15 minutes
    - Thermal stability to 70°C
    It is not surprising that this technology is suitable for multiple applications such as hybrid vehicles, electric bicycles, golf buggies and electric wheelchairs.

    Based on Lithium-ion technology, Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) has numerous advantages over Lithium-ion and Lead:
    · Safety - the battery will not combust in the event of overcharging
    · Over 2000 discharge cycles, compared to 300 cycles with a lead acid battery
    · Very low level of self-discharge
    · Can be used in all orientations
    · Fast recharge - charges to 90% of its full load capacity in 15 minutes
    · Thermal stability of LiFePO4 ranges up to 70°C.
    This technology is now being used on multiple applications such as hybrid vehicles, electric bicycles, golf carts, wheel chairs etc.
