Air depolarized batteries
This battery owes it depolarization mainly to the oxygen in the atmosphere. It uses a reducer to eliminate the reaction products that form in the cathode. It is used especially for watchmaking, parking meters, telecommunications, autonomous systems, road signs, fencing and hearing aids.
Air depolarized batteries have a self-discharge rate of about 10% per year which allows for a one year shelf life. They can withstand temperatures between -20°C and 45°C. They come in different voltages: 1.4V, 1.5V, 3V, 5.6V, 8.4V and 9V. Our offering includes alkaline and zinc ranges.
